We had a wonderful two days at Edinburgh’s Fruitmarket Gallery, and a warm welcome from the city. I delivered a talk on variations on concertina binding that culminated in wrapping the audience in our monumental Moscow book A Line of Five Feet. The audience was roughly the same size, so it seemed the logical thing to do.
Nothing beats selling books face to face, conveying your publishers’ enthusiasm along with physical books. Especially when you sell a book to one of the nation’s great libraries! We were delighted that the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art Library acquired The nth Convention.
